It's been a whirlwind, but I am so excited that our fourth Clare V. shop is now open at 619 N. Croft, just south of Melrose in West Hollywood! I'm so grateful to have the team I have working with me, everyone has been busting their butts to get the doors open (especially Mel). When all construction was finally done on Monday, Greta and the girls hustled it to merchandise the store and get it open on Wednesday. As our first store not designed by the talented Barbara Bestor, for this space we decided to work with New Yorker Kate McCollough. She's got an impressive resume working on fashion spaces and in-store installations, and I love the new elements she brought to our brand. The hex tiles in white & blue are so fresh and combined with the giant skylight in the store, the whole place feels so light and happy. Great leather ottomans sit in the middle of the store - and catch the sun just so underneath the skylight. They're a brilliant centerpiece for some of our bags, for weary men to wait patiently while their sig others shop, and where I can sometimes sneak a moment to soak it all in (shhh! don't tell! jk). Amanda Marsalis came with her camera in hand just as soon as the doors opened to photograph the new space. And the light! We'll have an in-house monogrammer like at our Nolita and Santa Monica shops. Light show! The CV spring bags, those Hollyflora blooms and those Heather Taylor Home pillows. Dreamy. Come visit us at 619 N. Croft. We're open! Hours are Monday-Saturday 11-7 and Sunday, 12-6, you might just find me there on that pouf! xcv
