Three WA girls in Junior Matildas squad for AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup

Australia’s squad has been revealed for the Group B 2024 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup Round 1 Qualifiers held in Mongolia from 24 – 28 April 2023. West Australians Jessica Skinner, Ischia Brooking and Ruby Cuthbert have been named in the squad. They are all currently in the Football West Hyundai NTC Program for Girls. The CommBank Junior Matildas will fly to Ulaanbaatar next week to take on Chinese Taipei and the host nation, Mongolia, with the top two teams progressing to the Round 2 Qualifiers in September 2023.
