Who Julien is: A student at Constance Billard, as well as a model and influencer. Her dad is also famous, which doesn't hurt.

Where You've Seen Alexander: Alexander's previous credits include Sacred Lies and Unbury the Biscuit.

Thomas Doherty plays Max Wolfe

Who Max is: A hedonist and pansexual (not mutually exclusive) member of Julien's elite friend group.

The OG GG Analog: It is incredibly clear that Max is the new, and improved, Chuck Bass.

Where You've Seen Doherty: He is best known for the Descendents movies. He plays Captain Hook's son, because of course he does. He. was also in the Vampire Diaries spin-off series Legacies.

Emily Alyn Lind plays Audrey Hope

Who Audrey is: Julien's BFF who may or may not be having relationship issues.

The OG GG Analog: She may look like Jenny, but gives off major Blair vibes. Remember how, at the beginning of the original series, Blair was with Nate?

Where You've Seen Lind: She was also in Sacred Lies, and you might remember her from Revenge as well.

Evan Mock plays Akeno Aki Menzies

Who Aki is: Audrey's boyfriend.

The OG GG Analog: This one is tricky. He's not quite Nate, but he's not quite anyone else either. While none of the new characters are carbon copies, Aki might be the freshest character on the new series.

Where You've Seen Mock: This is Mock's first on-screen role, but he previously worked as a model.

Savannah Lee Smith plays Monet de Haan

Who Monet is: Julien's friend, photographer, and social media manager.

The OG GG Analog: See previous. Luna and Monet are like fleshed-out versions of Blair's minions from the original series.

Where You've Seen Smith: You haven't; this is Smith's first on-screen role.

Tavi Gevinson plays Kate Keller

Who Kate is: A teacher at Constance Billard, which means that there isn't really an analog for her character from the original series. Teacher drama is brand new to the Gossip Girl 'verse.

Where You've Seen Gevinson: Besides founding Rookie Mag, NBD, Gevinson has a lengthy acting career. She's been on Broadway three times, in This is Our Youth, The Crucible, and The Cherry Orchard. She was in the films Enough Said and Person to Person. She's also a voice performer on Neo Yokio.

Adam Chanler-Berat plays Jordan

Who Jordan is: Another member of the teaching staff that bonds together in their (understandable) fear of rich teens.

Where You've Seen Chanler-Berat: He is very well known if you're a very specific subset of millennial theatre nerd — he played Henry in Next To Normal and starred in Peter and the Starcatcher — but a new discovery if that's not your scene. Like many New York actors he was in Law & Order, Elementary, and The Good Wife, but this is his first major television role.

Who Rafa is: The classics teacher. He's not part of the teacher's clique but he is part of the drama.

Where You've Seen Gotay: He is also a Broadway actor who was in Bring it On, Peter Pan Live!, and the infamous Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

Megan Ferguson plays Wendy

Who Wendy is: Another teacher. They travel in a pack.

Where You've Seen Ferguson: She played Gigi Dumont in Soundtrack, and is also in the delightful hidden gem of a romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery. She also has arcs in Casual, Grace and Frankie, and Hart of Dixie.

Rana Roy plays Rima

Who Rima is: The last of the teachers, promise!

Where You've Seen Roy: You may know Roy from Switched At Birth, Underground, The Night Shift, and Queen America. She was also in Life Sentence on The CW.

Johnathan Fernandez plays Zoya's Dad

Who Zoya's Dad is: Zoya and her dad move from Buffalo to the beginning of the series. They're not poor, but not rich either. They take the bus. It's fine!
