The Tennessee River Gorge Trust is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The organization's efforts to protect the Tennessee River Gorge have led to the protection of more than 17,500 acres of land within the 27,000 acre Gorge, which begins in Hamilton County at Williams Island (about 5 miles downstream from downtown Chattanooga) and runs 27 river miles to Hales Bar Dam Marina near Nickajack Lake in Marion County.
