Pashmina is the finest wool available. Obtained from the higher altitudes of Himalayas the “Pashmina” wool is known for its quality. Pashmina is trimmed from the special bread of goat known as changthangi which are indigenous to higher altitudes of Himalayas towards Tibet, Nepal and Ladakh. Pashmina is very soft, Light and exceptionally very warm. Its feels like butter and is a luxury to have a piece of it. This Pashmina shawl is in blue color & is embroidered all over. This embroidery is known as Sozni Work and the design is known as Jamawar which in Kashmiri means All-Over. The embroidery is done by needle known as needle work/sozni work. The fabric is woven on a Hand-Loom and the yarn is spun on a spinning wheel. Thus making it completely a handmade product.
