Typically, the loose foam pit will have a 30cm base layer of foam (see our pit base foam here) and will be filled with loose foam blocks or logs until the pit is full. Please use our pit foam calculator below for order quantities and prices of the various foam selections on offer (we advise ordering an additional 10% to allow for topping up once the new foam has settled after a few weeks of use). We also have a range of pit foam socks, the perfect accessory to suit our loose foam blocks and logs (see our pit foam socks here). It is advisable to fit pit foam socks on all our ranges of foam grades and sizes. Socks will prolong the life of the foam, stop dusting, help prevent breakages/splits and make the landing pit a brighter, more attractive and generally cleaner area. Due to the nature of foam we are unable to offer any guarantee on the longevity of our blocks and logs and would advise discussing the application so we can advise on what is best suited.
Our loose foam blocks, logs and pit base foam are a perfect accessory to our 1.2m and 1.5m raised pit podiums and sunken pits. All our loose foam blocks, logs and pit base foam is manufactured in the UK and meets the British Standards Fire Retardancy rating.
Whether it's a new foam landing pit or the refurbishment of an existing foam landing pit, we have the foam and padding to suit your requirements and budget.
