Handlebar is a male Rigellian and the owner of the Trading Post, a hub of the community which serves the function of a general store, hotel and saloon/bar in Fort Kerium on New Texas. A former space pirate, Handlebar is ashamed of his criminal past, when he was known as Cooky Blix-a-Nix. He surrendered on Pagan's Planet and served two years for piracy. He is now completely a reformed character and legitimate businessman with pride in his establishment. His strength and intimidating presence tend
