The cup has a unique handle, has a ring of porcelain beads at the base, and sits on three paw feet. White un-gilded portions and a floral gold motif on the cup and saucer enhance the design and connect the two pieces together. We love how the gold picks up some of its surroundings as well as glistens in the light. It is the perfect accessory to glamorize any space! Collector’s notes: Size: Cup measures 4 1/2” long (w/handle) x 3 3/4” wide x 4 1/4” tall. Saucer measures 5 3/4” wide/round x 1” high Condition: Excellent condition with some wear commensurate with age & use. Circa 1820s. One chipped bead at base of teacup, some loss of gold on teacup exterior as well as on saucer.
