Anyone have Experience with Fedex Hold at Location Service

I just set my new iPad to be held at FedEx Location. Does this happen after they make a delivery attempt or before? Anyone have experience with this? I'm hoping I don't add a business day to my delivery, as they give you that disclaimer when you chose the hold at location option. I just have
