Paris Diaries One Day Walking around Montmartre and Le Marais

During my stay in Paris I spent one morning walking around Montmartre. I did not have much time but I tried to enjoy small walk along the old cobbled streets. I started at Opera Garnier and from there I walked north to the Pigalle Metro station. Then I started climbing La Butte Montmartre walking along the little passages. I climbed up the hill to Sacré-Cœur Basilica and then I made my way down to Rue de Steinkerque. From there I went to Musée de la Vie Romantique located in 16 Rue Chaptal. It’s a lovely place with a free entrance to the main exhibition and a lovely cafe to have a cup of tea or coffee.I hope you will enjoy this little video of my morning walk around Montmartre. Next time I’m in Paris I will try to spend more time around Montmartre and record a longer video for you.
