The Denver Hook features a Gator-Back Hook at one end, and a NY Roof Hook at the other, constructed on Fire Hooks Unlimited's versatile steel shaft. This unique configuration offers various options on the fireground. The Gator-Back Hook features a regular tapered pike pole head, but on its back, is ten sharpened cross cutting teeth that can cut on the pull stroke as well as the push stroke. It will cut lath, plaster and sheetrock faster than any tool on the market today. The All-Purpose, NY Roof Hook end of the hook is the most versatile hook in the fire service today. Developed by the NYFD, this standard hook has exact specifications in every detail. This hook has a multitude of uses, from opening ceilings, walls, floors, moldings and casings, to the rapid removal of wood, lath and plaster, tin and sheet metal, plasterboard, fiberboard, and sheetrock. It features a specially tapered hook-head point. This hook is made of aircraft steel and is available in lengths of 4 to 8 feet, and features a Celtex grip.
